MHM Hack # 4: Spinach Feta Scones
Yield: 12 individual scones or 22 appetizers
Oven Temperature: 400 degrees
Baking Time: 20-22 minutes
Total Time: Less than 30 minutes
To make these yummy Spinach Feta Scones, you'll need:
- 1 Bag of Plain Mother Hubbard's Scone Mix
- Half a 8 oz package of frozen spinach, squeeze out excess water and chop coarsely
- ½ - 2/3 cup of crumbled feta cheese
- 3 green onions sliced thinly
If making individual sized scones:
Add all ingredients to dry mix, stir to combine and proceed as per instructions. Make great appetizers/hors d'oeuvres.
Cut the dough into 12 equal portions, roughly shape each into a round ball.
On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball into a 5 inch round disk.
Bake as per instructions. Enjoy!
