MHM Hack # 7: Fresh Cranberry Orange Scones with Icing
Empty out a bag of our Plain Scone mix into a bowl and add the finely grated zest of one large orange and ½ - 2/3 cup of sliced fresh cranberries.
Then, squeeze the juice from the zested orange into a 1 cup measuring cup and add enough water to make up the 200 ml needed for this recipe.
Mix all ingredients and bake as per the instructions on our label that came with the bag.
Optional – retain a tsp of orange zest and mix it with water and a little icing sugar until it has the consistency of thick liquid. Drizzle the icing you've made over cooled scones. Wait a few minutes for it to set and serve.
