Go ahead. Be a kid again. Pair this old fashioned oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with a tall glass of your favourite milk.
Rolled oats, over a half-pound of Belgian chocolate chips and a gentle pinch of spices.
Minimum yield: 16 large cookies.
Set your oven for 380°F.
Add the contents of both bags to a large bowl. Add 5 tablespoons of water and mix until evenly incorporated. If mixing by hand, it may be necessary to knead dough lightly in bowl until blended. The dough will be sticky. Lightly wet hands and form dough into 16 equal balls and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Gently press each cookie flat to a thickness of about 1/2 inch. Bake for about 16-20 minutes. Enjoy!
