Stir up sweet memories with this old fashioned oatmeal raisin cookie.
Rolled oats, over a half-pound of raisins, and a touch of cinnamon.
Minimum yield: 16 large cookies.
Set your oven for 380°F.
Add contents of both bags to a large bowl. Add 5 tablespoons of water and mix until evenly incorporated. If mixing by hand, it may be necessary to knead dough lightly in bowl until blended. Dough will be sticky. Lightly wet hands and form dough into 16 equal balls and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Gently press each cookie flat to a thickness of about 1/2 inch. Bake for about 16-20 minutes. Enjoy!
