A cookie created for all the date square lovers (and likers) amongst us.
Oatmeal cookie with over a half-pound of dates.
Minimum yield: 16 large cookies.
Set oven to 380°F.
Add contents of both bags to a large bowl. Add 5 tablespoons of water and mix until evenly incorporated. If mixing by hand, it may be necessary to knead dough lightly in bowl until well blended. Dough will be sticky. Lightly wet hands and form dough into 16 equal balls. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and gently press flat to a thickness of about 1/2 inch. Bake for about 16-20 minutes. Enjoy!
